VoIP Point of Presence Get started by taking 3 simple steps   step 1 Lease a rack in the VoIP-PoP facility and install all the equipment. We will provide cables for 12 E1's (voice trunks) and 2 fast ethernet connections (internet links) to the "meet-me-room". step 2 Choose the voice connectivity partner (MCI, COLT, ...). Ask our carrier list and request price lists. VoIP-PoP will patch the voice trunks in the "meet-me-room" to the carrier of your choice. step 3 IP Transit, get connected to the internet via fast ethernet (Global Crossing, Interoute,...). If necessary VoIP-PoP will provide you with a back-up link (service provider) for maintenance reasons.
